The grounds are lovely with a trail through the woods.
I was really frustrated during my stay. Even though the staff was responsive, it didn’t change the fact that we had nowhere else to go, and we only received compensation after the fact. All in all, it was a disappointing experience.

While the room was comfortable, it was quite dated and could use some convenient outlets, so disappointing, right? Also, I expected a welcome gift for just stepping into this place, but nothing! The self-serve food was decent, though self-serve isn’t my idea of hospitality. I almost gave a good review but just couldn’t, sadly.

The location is perfect for families, complemented by a clean atmosphere and friendly staff who truly make you feel at home. Kids enjoyed the game room while adults relaxed at the bar listening to live music. However, a lack of breakfast options, limited outlets in the room for charging devices, and the self-serve food setup were minor drawbacks during our visit.

The kids loved the game room, while the adults unwound at the bar with some great live music. The only thing I’d suggest is adding more outlets in the room for chargers. 😊

Exploring the taproom was an unexpected delight, with its cozy vibe and local brews that felt straight from a Newland brewery! The property also boasts a lovely trail through the woods, making it perfect for nature lovers. Plus, the diverse types of accommodations like glamping and cabins add a unique twist to the stay.
The lack of a breakfast option was a small bummer, and some coffee in the room could use a serious upgrade. But honestly, the place still shined despite these little misses.
